Rose Pincushion Bracelet!

Today I made a white rose pincushion bracelet! It took way longer than I anticipated to make the rose - the leaves and bracelet were pretty simple, and it has a magnetic closure. I'm so relieved that I now have a pin cushion, because my current one is this fancy magnetic container thing that's a wee bit broken, so it's impossible to grab pins without first dumping the whole thing out. Obvs, that's not so much fun. Especially since I sew in my bedroom, I don't want pins floppin' all over the place and gettin' in my business. And my feet. That would be a very dark day.

Close up! A fancy page was made for this picture, in the same vein as the one above it, but blogspot shunned it and wouldn't let me upload. :/ So here goes: I don't know if you can tell, but I diluted some silver fabric paint so it was basically watery glitter, and I painted that on. It's kind of subtle, and I'm feelin' it! You can kind of see in the middle of the flower, but it was originally intended to be blue. I ended up using way more fabric than I thought I would need, so I went with the white, and had to paint in the middle a bit so it didn't look quite so random. :D What do you think?

LOVE THIS. I love the detail in the petals... and the strokes on the leaves are amazing.
